The community database and the Connect the Dots tool will facilitate transparency and awareness of what's going on inside our government. The next step is to facilitate action.
To this end, we will offer a number of collaboration tools for members of the Transparent Federal Budget community to use. The social networking platform that brings this community together to build the database will also host applications to allow them to work together, such as a commenting system, event calendar, and our collaborative authoring tool, C-Wiki.
Better yet, building our social networking platform as open source, and with open standards, means that the community will be able to improve our collaboration tools or build their own.
Click on any of the links to explore these tools in more detail.
