Connect the Dots
texas_forums_logo_small

The "Connect the Dots" web application will sit on top of the community database, providing a powerful and intuitive visual interface into the data. The tool will graphically represent the community-built web of relationships between objects (bills, legislators, campaign contributions, companies, etc.) by showing those objects connected by lines. Users can browse this web of relationships by clicking their mouse to center their view on any object on their screen.

The Connect the Dots tool also facilitates community input. Users will be able to discuss issues using our commenting system, and vote on the accuracy and importance of the data in the database, whether an object (e.g. a piece of legislation), or a link between objects (e.g. an alleged connection between a particular legislator and a particular company). Objects and links with more community support can be displayed more prominently, helping highlight areas of community concern.

Our identity and reputation tools will help ensure the validity and credibility of this voting system.
